- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate or vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 2 eggs (or flax eggs for a vegan option)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
Add-ins (Optional):
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: almond flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl: eggs, applesauce, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until a thick batter forms. Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before slicing into squares. Enjoy!

- For extra protein, add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of protein powder, but balance with a bit more applesauce or coconut oil.
- For a fudgier texture, reduce baking time slightly.
