  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus more for topping)

For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (or homemade)
  • 1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • ½ cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

2. Make the Creamy Mixture:

  1. In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and seasonings until well combined.

3. Assemble the Casserole:

  1. Stir in the chicken, cooked rice or pasta, mixed vegetables, onion, garlic, and shredded cheese.
